These new heavy duty waterproof barrels from RUK Sport are great for keeping kit , food rations and personal items safe and dry on a long day trip or overnight adventure
These are roto moulded – like a sit on top kayak and consequently are incredibly tough and strong making them ideal for countless activities and they are incredibly handy.
Specially designed with ribbed sides for extra strength and durability , they feature an integrated neoprene seal in the top of the lid and a clever lid design which has 4 large sections which make them safe and easy to undo even with wet hands. The lid screws down and closes the neoprene seal in the lid against the top of the barrel and removes the need for sharp metal clamp rings which can be difficult to use with cold wet hands and these clamps can also be lost overboard when getting kit out on the water.
The design also features moulded handles underneath the lid rim which do not stick out from the circular form of the barrel , these provide a good grip point without the hassle of a protruding handle which can dig in or easily get broken off in use.
The 55 litre size is the largest we offer , and is ideal for longer adventure and activities, team building activities or combining groups food , kit and effects in just one waterproof cannister for a trip
