Trade Refunds Policy
This refunds policy is specific to all Trade customers who transact with Recreational Sports Ltd. on a ‘trade’ basis and therefore purchasing goods for resale or for activity usage.
No part of the below policy amends, overrides or supersedes Recreational Sports Ltd. Terms & Conditions
WARRANTY
If a trade customer claims or detects a defect in the goods, the trade customer must seek prior approval and return those goods to Recreational Sports Ltd. or, if the goods are retained by the trade customer, indemnify and keep Recreational Sports Ltd. indemnified against all liability and claims which may arise out of or incidental to the defect.
In the event of a reported defect in the goods by the trade customer to Recreational Sports Ltd. , Recreational Sports Ltd. will only agree a return of the goods for credit when it is deemed as a manufacturing defect by Recreational Sports Ltd.
In the instance of a manufacturing defect, Recreational Sports Ltd. reserves the right to offer the following:
- Replacement of the goods
- A full or part refund of the goods
In no event shall Recreational Sports Ltd. be liable for damages with respect to the sale or use of any product sold hereunder in any amount greater than the amount of the purchase price received by Recreational Sports Ltd. for that particular product.
In addition, Recreational Sports Ltd. shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages or costs or expenses in the event of any breach of warranty or in the event of any loss, damage injury or cost resulting from, or arising out of, or in respect of the goods being sold hereunder.
RETURNING GOODS
Recreational Sports Ltd. will only accept goods being returned by a trade customer if prior consent has been given by Recreational Sports Ltd.
In the event of wishing to return goods, trade customers must contact Recreational Sports Ltd. to obtain an authorisation email, a copy of which must then be included in an appropriate manner with the goods.
Recreational Sports Ltd. reserves the right to refuse to accept goods being returned by a trade customer. In cases where Recreational Sports Ltd. does agree to accept a return Recreational Sports Ltd. reserves the right to charge a handling fee not exceeding 50% based on the invoice price of the goods.
Excluding circumstances where goods are being returned for the reason of damage or are subject to warranty claim, goods being returned to Recreational Sports Ltd. must arrive in a condition that allows them to be re-sold. In the event that returned goods are not in good condition Recreational Sports Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw any agreement for credit with the trade customer and/or charge a handling fee.
