Kayak Backrest – basic type

Description

This padded kayak backrest is a popular design and common on many sit on top kayaks and some sit in designs.  It has a hard-wearing polyester fabric outer with 4 attachment straps integrated at the rear sides of the backrest.

It offers important comfort as it gives lower back support while paddling and is a significant improvement over the plain moulded seats in kayaks with no seat or backrest.  An additional feature is the rear storage pocket for small items.

The 4 point fixings and adjustable on sliding straps and the snap shackle attachment make this a universal application product suitable for all kayaks with similar fixing eyes. The front straps attach to the forward deck fittings and back through a nylon buckle adjuster on strap. Rear straps clip onto rear deck fittings with the same adjustment feature.
