Canoe HD foam roof rack block kit

Description

RUK Sport Canoe HD foam roof rack block kit can be used 2 ways

Firstly it can be used on standard roof bars – they simply push on to the roof bar and slide into place to provide a wide cushion block to rest the upturned canoe gunwale on. The canoe can then be firmly strapped down with the special bow and stern tie down straps and bumper hooks

Secondly it can be used as an occasional transport ‘get you home kit’ which allows you to carry it on a vehicle roof without a roof rack or bars.  The blocks are pushed onto the Canoe gunwale and then the canoe is upturned and placed on the vehicle roof to provide 4 cushioned blocks resting on the roof. The canoe can then be firmly strapped down with the special bow and stern tie down straps and bumper hooks.

IMPORTANT – if using in the second instance – direct on your vehicle roof , it is important that the roof of the vehicle is clean and the block mating surfaces are clean as this will minimise scratching to the paint finish on the roof.  It is important to bear in mind that continued use in this way will cause scratching and damage to your vehicle roof.
