Description
This is the perfect trolley for transporting large open canoes and small boats / dinghies. Its robust and heavy duty design makes it easier to handle bulky craft to and from the water. This is the largest trolley in the RUK Sport range
Compared with the smaller T004 Trekker Canoe / Large kayak trolley, this model is wider, taller and features a higher frame , it uses large 260mm diameter wheels which makes it the ideal choice to handle the extra bulk of large canoes and small boats
It features a full width loading stand stay which can be easily folded out to assist with loading – when used this holds the trolley upright to make it easier to load your craft in exactly the position you want it – without the trolley rolling out of the way.
The taller frame makes it easier to load and unload as you do not have to bend so low to pick up your craft when unloading from the trolley – it also saves you having to bend when piloting the loaded trolley to and from the water
The Sherpa features 4 soft rubberised mounting buffers to minimise the metal frame marking your craft. The mounting cradle is cranked to fit the profile of canoe hulls and also features a touch webbing check strap to ensure the boat supports stay in the same position when transporting your craft
It also features a full width axle for increased carrying capacity and check ropes for the full width loading stay to ensure that stays located in the best position
The trolley , leg stay and frame folds for easy storage and transportation when not in use and the wheels can be quickly removed to make it even more compact to pack away
